A few things to consider when giving online:
Fees
Giving online costs the church 3%. So, if you’re already giving, the church would receive less of your gift if you went digital. If giving online is just a better fit for you, there’s a box you can check to cover the fees. This adds the 3% on top of your gift so the church still receives all of what you intended to give.
Recurring Gifts
If you wish to set up your tithe on a recurring basis (i.e. each week) then you can check a box selecting a schedule.
Credit Cards
This online platform gives users the option to give by credit card or from their bank account. With credit cards comes the possibility that people will take on debt to give. Please don’t! If you choose to use your credit card to take advantage of rewards programs or for some other reason, please make sure you’re not giving money you don’t have.
