At Tabor, we aim to remember that when we serve others, we serve Christ. We are a small church in a small town, but we give generously.
Our ongoing partnerships with Habitat for Humanity and PACEM allow us to serve those in need of shelter and food in the greater Crozet area.
Some Tabor members are in a special position to help minister to others, and volunteer their services at Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinics in underserved parts of Virginia.
Every year our backpack and toy drives for local children provide physical goods for children who would otherwise go without.
Through our financial and prayerful support, we help PC(USA) provide food for the hungry, minister to the poor, and respond to the most pressing needs of people around the world.
Before the summer months, we connect with local schools and social services to identify food needs that aren't being met while schools are out. In addition to collecting donations of non-perishable items, we put our kitchen to good use with volunteers preparing meals for those who need them.
